Only if you want it to. Auto-print can stay switched on alongside the screen, which is how most kitchens transition.

Every ticket carries a timer measured against the prep-time target you set — 20 minutes by default — and flags once it is overdue.

Does it work with QR orders from the table?

Yes. Orders placed by a customer scanning a table QR arrive on the kitchen screen the same as any other order.
