Kitchen Display System

Every order on one screen. Nothing lost under the counter.

Turn a tablet, a laptop or a spare monitor into a kitchen display. Orders appear the second they are punched, each with a running timer, so your kitchen always knows what is next and what is late.

What you get

Everything Kitchen Display System does

A live grid of open orders

Every ticket shows on screen the moment it is punched — dine-in, takeaway, delivery and QR orders together, in the order they arrived.

A timer on every ticket

Each order counts up against the prep-time target you set. Tickets that cross it stand out, so the delay gets caught before the customer notices.

Sound alerts for new orders

A chime when a ticket lands means nobody has to stare at the screen through a rush.

Route by category to each station

Filter a screen to only the categories that station cooks — tandoor sees tandoor, bar sees bar. One screen per station, no crosstalk.

Keep printing if you want to

The KDS does not force you off paper. Auto-print can stay on while your kitchen gets used to the screen.

Any screen you already own

It runs in a browser. An old laptop, an Android tablet or a monitor on a stand all work — no proprietary kitchen hardware to buy.

Getting started

Live in four steps.

No installation visit, no configuration call. You can set this up yourself between two customers.

What you need

  • A tablet, laptop or monitor with a modern browser
  • A network connection between the counter and the kitchen screen
01

Open the KDS on any screen

Sign in on a browser on the device you want to mount in the kitchen.

02

Pick the categories for that station

Each screen shows only what that station is responsible for.

03

Set your prep-time target and alerts

Choose the SLA in minutes and whether you want the sound alert and auto-print on.

04

Punch orders as usual

From the POS, the Captain App or a table QR — everything lands on the screen instantly.

Plays well with

Part of the same app — not a bolt-on

Kitchen Display System shares the same catalogue, the same customers and the same reports as the rest of Tokn. Nothing to sync, nothing to reconcile at the end of the day.

No. The KDS runs in a browser, so any tablet, laptop or monitor you already have will do the job.
